dc.description.abstract The study aimed at evaluating the factors influencing students’ choice of course and college of study at National Institute of Transport. The study used realism approach because to identify social realities. A case study design and stratified sampling technique were used to obtain a sample of 142 respondents. Data were collected by using interview and questionnaires. Quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics with the help of statistical package for social science and qualitative data were analyzed using content analysis. The findings reveal that, most of the respondents are satisfied with courses offered at the National Institute of Transport. However, extraordinarily sustainable strategies are needed at the Institute for existence. Furthermore, availability of hostels and good learning environment are the main factors which influence students’ satisfaction and choice of course at the Institute. For students’ satisfaction purpose, increase of hostels and improvement of environment are recommended by this study. en_US
